Marshal Fencing is holding a Sabre only Open held at their new Manchester Fencing Centre on Sunday 18th September.

The Centre has 19 full size metallic pistes, with 13 Scoring boxes for competitions, Changing Rooms, Strength and conditioning area,meeting/class room, parents chill area, with pool table and vending machines, a 30 meter bench for fencers with storage for fencing bags, and also an armory.

There will be a single round of poules followed by Direct Elimination. However, there will be a Shark Poule with the top 14 ranked fencers separated into 2 poules of 7.  The other fencers (the Minows) will have their own single round of Poules.  Fencers from both sets of Poules will be ranked into the DE matches.
