The University of Stirling Fencing Club will hold the 8th Stirling Sword on the weekend of 27th/28th January 2018.

Location

Gannochy Sports Centre on the University of Stirling.

Format

Saturday - Mixed Gender Team events for all weapons.  Teams must consist of 3 people with optional reserve. One round of poules followed by direct elimination.  There is a social event on the Saturday evening.

Sunday - Mixed Gender Individual events for all weapons.  Two rounds of poules followed by direct elimination.

• Sunday
  • 09:45 - Mixed Individual Foil
  • 10:15 - Mixed Individual Epee
  • 11:15 - Mixed Individual Sabre

Cost

Various prices depending on what you want to do

• £69 - for 3 people for Saturday and Sunday. The social on the Saturday night, and a lunchbox for both days are also included in this ticket.
• £25 - for a team on the Saturday
• £15 - per person for the Sunday
• £6 - for the social on the Saturday night (only available on the day)

Entry

All competitors must have a full or recreational BFA Licence or for international fencers, a valid licence for their home nation.

This competition has been given 'Recreational' competition status by Scottish Fencing/British Fencing so we can accept recreational licences.
