Wallace Fencing Academy will be hosting this year's Scottish Intermediates Championships on the weekend ot 28/29 May.

The Scottish Intermediates is a new competition designed with the relatively new fencers in mind.

It is open to all fencers , over 13, who have yet to achieve a medal in a Domestic Open event. 

Fencers who have been placed in the last 4 of a Mens Epee or Foil  event or the actual final of a Mens Sabre or any Ladies event will not be eligible to fence in this competition. Previous winners of this event are also ineligible.

In this way we hope to encourage more fencers to start competing in what is hopefully a less daunting competition.

There are medals for the top 4 in each event and the winners will be given a free Celtic Passport entry to the following season’s domestic opens - a potential saving of £140.
