Intermediary competition to bridge the gap between beginner competitions and senior opens to be held over the weekend of 28th/29th October.

Medals will be awarded to the finalists. The champion of each competition will win free entry to both the M8 Open and the Glasgow Open.

The Leon Paul Scotland stand will be on hand for equipment supplies.

Eligibility

The Scottish Intermediates is open to fencers who meet the following criteria:

1. Are not currently in the top 50 (men) or 25 (ladies) of the Senior British Rankings.
2. Have never been a medallist in a Scottish Senior Open (last 4 for men's foil and epee, last 2 for men's sabre and the ladies' competitions).
3. Have never been Scottish Intermediates Champion.

You will need a full competitive membership of British Fencing to compete in this event.

Format

Two rounds of poules followed by direct elimination with a secondary competition (for those knocked out in the first rounds of the direct elimination).

Cost

Single weapon entry £20; Dual weapon entry £30; additional courses £10 each.
