Beginners Course

Since the demise of Strathclyde University's Further Education Fencing class, the club has been asked about running some formal beginners coaching. So starting in January we will be organising the first of these 10 week courses - hopefully, these will be repeated throughout the year and may lead on to some intermediate level courses.

Highland Open

Details and entry forms have been added to the Competitions page. We are looking for a large turn out from GWEFC at this year's Highland - and to have everyone make their check-in too. Maria has been challenged with organising us.

Club AGM

The Annual General Meeting of the Glasgow West End Fencing Club will be held on Thursday 11th November 2004 at 9.00 pm in Pizza Hut, 203-205 Argyle Street, Glasgow. We will stop fencing at 8:30 on that evening.

Be there for 7pm sharp - otherwise you'll miss your dinner.

Night Class Delayed

The evening class has been postponed by a week whilst they sort out storage space for kit. Anyone got a spare flameproof cabinet?
